Book Description
An illustrated children’s book about The Trolls of Barnston Wood. This book follows the story of Grumps the Bridge Troll at Halloween.
The Woodland Animals are enjoying themselves dressing up as ghosts, ghouls, witches and warlocks. Poor Grumps is scared. He thinks these terrible creatures are real. Grumps, spends the night wide awake, shivering and shaking with fright in his little home under the bridge. In the morning as the sun comes up, he sees the frightening creatures have disappeared, all is well. The animals laugh and own up that they had dressed up as the terrible creatures he saw. They were just playing tricks on poor unsuspecting Grumps.
The book contains wonderful illustrations and is written in rhyme.
